Reception
For bike rentals, questions, tourist information, cycling and walking routes, newspapers, etc., please visit the reception desk. Outside opening hours, the reception desk can be reached by telephone in case of emergency.
Parking
You can park your car at your lodge. Each lodge has its own parking space for one car. During your stay, we will note your car’s license plate number so that it has access to the Kattenbergse Hoeve Estate grounds.
Bicycle storage
You can store your rented bicycle(s) in our bicycle storage facility. Upon request, you will receive a key upon arrival.
E-bike charging point
There is a charging point for your e-bike at the rear of the lodge.
Bus stop
The nearest bus stop is Larenseweg Markelo.
Departure
You must leave the lodge before 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure. You can return the key to the reception desk. If you are leaving outside of reception hours, you can leave the key in the gray mailbox at the main entrance of the reception desk.
Would you like to book a late check-out? This is possible upon request at the reception desk on the day of departure. If possible, we offer a late check-out until 12:00 p.m. for €20.00 and until 5:00 p.m. for €75.00.
What we ask
- We would appreciate it if you would remove the bedding
(except the molton) off the beds. Kitchen towels, hand towels, and bathrobes may be left in the hallway.
Empty the dishwasher.
Put small items back in the cupboard, clean.
Empty the refrigerator. - Empty the trash cans and take the garbage to the park’s recycling center. There are separate bins for residual waste, glass, and paper
- Leave the lodge swept clean
- Set the thermostat to 19 degrees
- Close all doors and windows
- Turn off the television and lights
- Report any breakages, missing items, or defects to the reception desk
- Report any damage to the interior and/or lodge to reception

If you notice a fire anywhere, follow these steps:
- Report the fire to 112
- Report the fire to reception on 0547-821000
All lodges are equipped with fire alarms, carbon monoxide detectors, foam fire extinguishers, and fire blankets.
AED
The AED is mounted on the wall opposite the entrance to the Hoeve.

Playground
Guests of Zicht op Twente are welcome to use the playground at Landgoed Kattenbergse Hoeve..
Swimming pool
Guests of Zicht op Twente may use the swimming pool at Landgoed Kattenbergse Hoeve free of charge. It is open from Ascension Day until September (depending on the weather). The public swimming pool in Markelo (indoor and outdoor with slides) is 2 km away. www.zwembaddevijfheuvels.nl

Waste
Zicht op Twente is an environmentally conscious park. We kindly request that you separate your waste at the recycling center.
BBQ
The use of a GAS BBQ is permitted. BBQs using charcoal or open flames, such as fire pits, are prohibited due to the wooded surroundings.
Vacuum cleaner
There is no vacuum cleaner in the lodge. A stick vacuum cleaner can be picked up at the reception desk if you wish to use one. After use, we request that you return the vacuum cleaner to the reception desk as soon as possible. Visitors It is possible to receive visitors at the lodge during your stay. If they stay overnight, tourist tax will be charged.
Safe
You will find the safe in the closet of the master bedroom. Do not leave money or valuables unattended in your lodge. Zicht op Twente is not liable for loss or theft of personal belongings.
Complaints
If you have any comments or complaints, please contact the reception desk. We will always try to resolve the complaint immediately.
Towels
Extra towels are available for a fee at the reception desk. You can pick up a laundry bag at the reception desk to bring in and pick up wet/ dirty towels. The laundry bag remains the property of Zicht op Twente.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in the lodge, in the doorway of the lodge, and in the spa. If we find that smoking has taken place in one of these areas, we will have to charge a fine of €250.
Laundry room
If you wish to use the laundry room at Landgoed Kattenbergse Hoeve, you can purchase tokens at the reception desk.
Bathrobes
During your stay, you can use the bathrobes provided by Zicht op Twente for a fee. The bathrobes remain the property of Zicht op Twente.
Rituals
Enjoy Rituals’ skin care and fragrance products. More than 70% of the formulas for personal care products are composed of at least 90% natural ingredients. All formulas that you rinse off are already biodegradable.
Spa
The Spa is suitable for 4 people. In order to maintain the best possible water quality, we ask that you shower before use and refrain from adding bath oil, bath foam, shampoo, or soap to the spa. Between each use, the spa is completely emptied and cleaned, refilled with tap water, and chemically treated to ensure the correct pH and free chlorine levels.
Our technical service does its best to maintain the water quality of the jacuzzi during your stay. Do you feel that the water quality is deteriorating? Please report this to the reception so that we can address it immediately.
Furthermore, smoking and consuming food and beverages in the spa is prohibited. Please be careful with glass. Read the instructions before use. You can relax in the spa without restriction, but due to noise disturbance for other guests, this is only permitted until 11:00 p.m.
